David was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  After earning advanced university degrees in political science and business, he studied politics and economics at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.  He was a marketing executive with several Fortune 500 companies before turning to writing.  He is a New York Times best selling author and working on his fourth novel.
